I offer private lessons for piano, guitar, trumpet, as well as singing and playing concurrently. I teach jazz, classical, rock, pop, country, bluegrass on any of these instruments. I also offer lessons on music production, electronic music production, as well as mixing music.

Age range: I primarily work with adults as well as kids ages 10 and up.

Rate: Lessons are $60 for a 45 minute lesson. There are no contracts involved. Because I travel from student to student in the region, I am very communicative about traffic conditions.

Teaching Method: I have a very disciplined teaching approach. Each lesson consists of:

—Warming up (technique, scales, preventing injury)

—Addressing the Student’s “reach” musical piece and “breaking it down”.

—New material (musical pieces that will improve the Student’s playing)

—Fun material (musical pieces that are easily within the Student’s reach, fun songs, improvisation theory, recording techniques, songwriting, singing and playing).

Every student is completely different! Though I usually start all students exactly the same, I am completely open to suggestions from the student (or parent) based on ability, lifestyle choices, age, attention span.
