I am a multi-instrumentalist, band leader, songwriter and teacher based in Lakewood, Colorado. I do at-home lessons exclusively, traveling to student’s houses to conduct lessons.

I teach:

◼Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, ranging from Bluegrass, Americana, Pop and Rock.

◼Singing and playing Guitar or Piano

◼Beginner to Intermediate Trumpet

◼Recording and mixing techniques (any program)

◼Transcription and learning by ear

I was fortunate enough to make it into Berklee College of Music in 2010. Studying Contemporary Writing and Production, I learned the ways of arranging jazz pieces, composing for orchestra, ensembles, and inspiring the very musicians whom I wrote for. While at Berklee, I studied under Steve Heck, Matt Jenson, and Josh Rosen.

I moved to Denver in 2015 to be part of the music scene. I started playing open mics, eventually fronting the Denver Americana Jam band Bodango as a songwriter, singer, and guitarist. I am a self-taught guitarist, focused on Bluegrass, Jam Band, Americana, and Funk.

My teaching career began in 2013 as a studio teacher at Guitar Center. Since then, I have worked for a few other studios before deciding to branch out on my own!

My story:

Growing up in Connecticut, my mother passed in 2006 when I was a high school Freshman. I decided that life was very short and I would follow the joy of music to the upmost extent in my life. I’m here to share it with you!

I leaned into my musical studies, finding happiness and expression playing classical, jazz, and freeform music on the piano. During high school I studied at the Hartford Conservatory under Walter Gwardyak, director of the New England Jazz Ensemble. My favorite pianists were the ones who could sit down and just play, such as Keith Jarrett, Bill Evans, and Brad Mehldau. I notably played freeform talent shows where I purposefully would have no plan until the very instant I began to play. Here are some examples:
